I did not want to go home! The Flat is spotlessly clean and we felt straight at home
as soon as we got there. There are nice touches such as flowers, Dvds, Games and
a hamper with useful stuff. The hot tub and cinema size projector screen made the
flat even better. The Flat is in a perfect location as it's literally a road away
from the beach. Although it is on a mini high street, it was still peaceful. I am
hoping we will be going back soon. "
First Class Holiday Apartment""Sunset Loft is located at Tankerton, approximately
a mile from Whitstable. Only a 20 minute leisurely walk along the smooth surfaced
beach path with fantastic views. Taxis to and from Whitstable are plentiful and
there are buses too, plus numerous car parks should you choose to drive. The apartment
itself is extremely well presented with all the facilities you could possibly want.
Fresh flowers, soft towels, nice toiletries. The hot tub and outside deck were a
real hit with our party of 5 ladies away for a birthday weekend! The apartment is
lovely and cool, important bearing in mind that we went on the hottest weekend so
far this year. There is some street noise if you sleep with all the windows open,
but that is to be expected. There are numerous facilities immediately available
outside the apartment i.e. cashpoints, take-aways, all the usual shops etc.Whitstable
is just lovely. We particularly enjoyed Harbour Street where all the 'one off' shops
are, everything from the handmade cheese shop, cup cakes shop, galleries, homestyle
shops etc. Plus there is a nice market syle area on the harbour front and if you
like sea food then you will be in heaven. Our favourite restaurant was Birdies, which
whilst on the expensive side, served top quality food.Mrs Dunning the owner was very
nice to deal with, and was quick to answer any questions or changes to booking that
we had. I felt that nothing was too much trouble.I would certainly recommend Sunset
Loft to all my friends and relatives and we are checking our diaries so that we can
rebook for next year!Elaine July 2010"

Honey Lodge was exactly as described and more! Set in a rural location, this is the
perfect holiday for getting away from it all! The hot tub and 100" cinema screen
just perfected the holiday. I was so sorry to go, and wished I could have stayed
longer. I was so impressed with the cleaniness of the cabin - I would highly recommend
to all! The personal touches, such as the flowers, wine and shopping essentials were
very thoughtful of the owners, and very much appreciated! I would, without doubt,
holiday at Honey Lodge again - but for longer next time. I am looking forward to
experiencing my week at Sunset Loft in October (and counting down the days!) I highly
recommend The Rose In Bloom Pub and Restaurant (especially if you have children)
which is situated in Joy Lane, Seasalter. I also recommend Long Reach Pub and Restaurant
as a second choice. I was also highly impressed with the comfort of the Honey Lodge,
and the spaciousness of the family room (which sleeps 5), yet we were not cramped.
Druidstone Wildlife Park, which is just 2 driveways from Honey Lodge is also a good
place to visit if you have young children. Out of 10, I would give Honey Lodge a
definite 11!!!! xx"

excellent weekend break
Had excellent time at the Lodge and Cottage. Children and adults loved the hot tubs.
Managed to keep numerous children occupied all weekend with the hot tub allowing
parents to relax. Tree house good fun but steps quite steep for small children under
4 and need to keep an eye on them.
Suggestions for children's activity to be constructed
in the cottage garden maybe a big slide, padded plastic, will keep them occupied
for ages (Had to rescue cover to the hot tub in Lodge garden from being used like
this...
Lodge is beautiful inside and much more spacious than looks in photos. Good
space to socialise in. Would definitely recommend it for family occasion

amazingly beautiful home from home cottage .
this is an outstanding place to stay, we loved every minute of our holiday. close
to Canterbury, and the lovely town of whitstable we were not short of things to do.
had no problem keeping our 2 year old busy. garden was fantastic and hot tub was
out of this world , great in the rain too (you just gotta try it ). the cottage is
so homely you certainly wont feel out of place , very comfy and very pretty. a big
thank you to Chris and Michelle for hospitality . all our love the Burden family xx
Thoroughly enjoyable week in Kent
We found Honey cottage well appointed and ideal for our stay. There were 6 of us,
my wife Elaine, my two daughters and their boyfriends and myself. We have visited
Kent before so we new about the good weather and pleasant countryside. We visited
Whitstable, Hearn bay, Broadstairs and Margate. Broadstairs was our favourite local
location. Cantabury was a particularly favourite with the shopping half of our party.Going
further afield we visited Hastings and Battle, which we did not allow enough time
for. Brighton was also very nice as we had a Italian meal there that was very reasonable. Us
lads,I include myself, took our bikes so when things were quiet or shopping trips
were in hand we took to the local woods and surrounding villages for some exercise. We
looked forward to watching England play on the big screen in the cottage, although
that did not quite go to plan. The hot tub and barbeque were also well used. All in
all it was a very comfortable stay.We would certainly return. Regards John Tyrell
After the initial glitches where we could not communicate with either Michelle or
Chris on arriving at the Honey Cottage, it was quite an awesome experience. From
finding the key in something that seemed almost like a crystal maze hunt to entering
the house which seemed nothing less than a well earned reward, the whole experience
wa quite enriching! I travelled with my spouse and two and a half friends with various
levels of expectation and needs. What impressed us all was the way Michelle and Chris
have equipped the cottage so completely that it made coming back after a long day
full of activities in Canterbury or Whitstable an equally exciting prospect if not
more... From the cinema screen to the barbeque, Jacuzzi and the tree house, there
was everything that one could aspire for in a cottage. We spent six nights at the
cottage and were pleased with its proximity to a pub, the bus station and a convenience
store within 800 meters of distance. The only downside that I could think of is the
lack of proper doorway to bring in or take out luggage, which becomes a bit cumbersome,
given the narrow and high stepped entrance, that too in absence of any assistance.
If perhaps a ramp could be made from behind for the luggage, that would make life
easy for guests coming in. In all a good experience and highly recommended stay for
anybody visiting Canterbury with family/friends and looking for a home away from
home...

The Honey Lodge is a beautiful, luxurious holiday home, which we have enjoyed for
2
wonderful weeks. It is spacious and has the comfort of a hotel because of the linen
and towels which are provided. On top of that, it has a well equipped, modern kitchen
and a great hot tub on the veranda for relaxation after a day of tourist outings.
We
also appreciated the garden with a large trampoline for the children, as well as
the view of the field behind the Lodge. A visit from a peacock, a squirl and a rabbit
proved the blending into nature of this holiday destination :-)
For many, the huge
TV/DVD cinema screen will probably be an asset, although we hardly used it as we
do not watch allot of TV or films. However, the Hot Tub was used daily, often even
twice a day or more!!
So thank you very much, Michelle and Chris, you are wonderful
people.
This was a much needed holiday and we had a fantastic time. The hot tub was fantastic,
even if it was chilly outside it did not matter. the apartment is so nice we spent
a few days just staying there, watching movies on the 96 inch projector screen which
was fab! handy butchers only a minutes walk away for meat for a BBQ, and tesco for
everyday needs. I for one would love to come again!
We had a lovely break at sunset loft. The weather was fabulous which meant we could
really enjoy the great location close to Tankerton Beach and Whitstable. The apartment
was comfortable and spotlessly clean with lovely touches like sparkling wine and
essentials provided for our arrival. Our only issue was the traffic noise (mostly
in the front bedrooms) from the road outside; it normally died down by 11pm. The
road is not too busy and this was not a massive issue but it did take a little bit
of getting used to.

a great weekend it was we had a truly amazing time. We felt very much at home and
cosy. The hot tub was superb and very romantic at night looking at the stars. The
bed was extremely comfortable and we did not want to come home after a very relaxing

some great meals in the tapas and a french style restaurant. We will most definitely
come back again and hopefully very soon. Michelle was great and made our stay perfect

"My boyfriend
and I booked a long weekend in Honey Cottage as a belated Christmas present to ourselves,
and we had a wonderful time.
The cottage is beautiful; traditional features like low
beams and a roaring fire complimented by modern touches like a cinema screen and
fully equipped kitchen. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise; tea, coffee, breakfast
cereals and chocolates, with milk, OJ and a bottle of bubbly in the fridge and fresh
flowers on the table. We wound down after our journey by enjoying the bubbly in the
hot tub - the cold weather outside made it all the more relaxing.
We spent some time
in Whitstable, which is a lovely town with great seafood restaurants. We also headed
out to Seasalter where we had a truly memorable dinner at The Sportsman - very highly
recommended.
And even though we had heavy rain on one day of our stay, the cinema
screen and selection of DVDs kept us occupied - as did the local pub which did a
great Sunday roast! We came back home after three days refreshed and relaxed.
Highly
recommended... we will definitely be back to Honey Cottage.
(Note: We don't have a
car, and found getting around by public transport and taxi very easy indeed as the
cottage is so close to Canterbury and Whitstable)"

My group of girls wanted a quiet weekend away without the children and Honey Cottage
was just perfect. The facilities were great - perfectly adequate kitchen (although
a dishwasher would have been nice!), great hot tub to brush the cobwebs away in the
morning. We spent all day shopping and then returned to the cottage, collapsed and
watched all the reality TV we could manage (whilst taping some on Sky+ - an excellent
feature).

I would definitely recommend the cottage to my friends - great
value for money.

As soon as we walked through the door of Honey Cottage i knew i had struck gold!
It was exactly as was described and as i had imagined it, if not better and we felt
immediately at home and welcomed. The owners clearly care not only about their property
but also about the people who stay there, taking each booking separately and preparing
a welcome pack of goodies to suit. The cottage was clean and fully equipped with
everything you would need for any length of stay. The log fire was wonderful and
really got us feeling relaxed and Christmassy and the hot tub....well....i want one!!
It was so exhilarating to relax in the gorgeous warm water while it was so cold outside.
All that was missing was a view of the Canadian Rockies!!We went for a lovely meal
at The Pearson's Arms in Whitstable which i would highly recommend. The food was
extremely tasty and there was a great atmosphere in the restaurant and in the bar
downstairs. We also did some Christmas shopping and sightseeing in Canterbury which
is a lovely town and a wander round the stunning cathedral is well worth the effort.
While in Canterbury treat yourself to an afternoon tea at Tiny Tim's Tearooms. It's
the whole 3 tiered platter affair and rather yummy!I would absolutely advise anyone
who is lucky enough to find this property to book it and visit as soon as possible
because they will not be disappointed, in fact, im sure they will feel very glad,
as i do, to have found such a little gem!"

The house is quaint and comfortable with easy reach to Whitstable or Canterbury.
As the house is not in the town however it is a peaceful holiday residence. The garden
is amazing. Our kids lived in the hot tub night and day. Us adults had to book virtually
to get a turn. The tree house was a perfect fun hideaway for them. What made the
holiday really special was the way the owners accommodated our needs, They were friendly
and attentive and left us a wonderful basket of goodies on our arrival. Our kids
can't wait to go back next year.

Everything about this holiday was excellent, the cottage just gave us as a family
to spend quality time in a peaceful and quiet location. The cottage was clean and
quiet, the sofa was fantastic and access to the internet a massive bonus. We have
already recommended to friends and family, and they also remarked at how relaxed
and well we looked. Michelle and Chris were very welcoming and helpful with a welcoming
basket that was so generous and well selected. The hot tub was a massive hit with
the kids, if only they would shower/bath at the same rate that they jumped in there!
We were able to explore nearby places and Canterbury was a big hit with the kids,
Canterbury tales, the river, the Cathedral all accommodated our blind son without
fuss or commotion, We had a really great holiday and we will be back, hopefully next

"In short, this was
a wonderful property, which provided us with everything we could possibly need for
a fabulous week away. The long (deservedly gushing) version is that my partner and
I usually head for "hot tub cottages" when we're able to take a short break, and
despite all of our experiences being fantastic, this is the first we have decided
to repeat at our earliest opportunity! The property truly felt like home - beautifully
kept, filled with modern tech and an unexpected array of snacks and treats! The furniture
was immensely comfortable, and the lovely toiletries in the bathroom rendered my
poor washbag semi-redundant! We were undisturbed for the entire visit, which (at
risk of unintentionally sounding very anti-social!) is not something you would get
to enjoy in a standard hotel or apartment - late to bed and late to rise was a luxurious
change to the daily grind. Abacus Cabs took us in and out of Whitstable for dinner,
namely to The Crab & Winkle and Pearsons Arms restaurants, both of which we highly
recommend. A week just wasn't long enough. Thanks to Michelle and Chris for keeping
such a high standard of holiday home."

Cottage was exactly as described,clean-tidy and with everything you need supplied
and in working order. The hot tub is great for relaxing in later on in the day ,when
we laid back, and relaxed basking in the still warm sun , sipping a chilled glass
of very acceptable sparkling wine, which comes courtesy of the owners along with
a large welcome basket of other goodies, and essentials that meen you dont have to
go shopping straight away or bother taking it with you.
If you enjoy watching television
or a DVD later on in the day(or anytime) then you will also love the high quality
,huge Sony home cinema screen set up.
The cottage is situated within easy reach
of Whitstable or Cantebury, by car, walking or if you preffer there is a very regular
bus service that stops just a miniute away.
If you do like walking then a Public Footpath
is seconds away from the cottage which takes you into the ancient and very beautifull
Blean Forest.
If you like eating out and you love seafood, then Whitstable is seafood
heaven. Go to the fish market down by the harbour where you can buy a huge range of
fantastically fresh fish and shellfish. And where else can you buy half a dozen oysters
for around £4 opened in front you, lemon. tabasco, what more can i say. Lots actually,
Whitstable has some of the best fish restaurants in euroupe, and Wheelers in the
high st is very good, you are really spoilt for choice.
I would have no problem reccommending
Honey Cottage to anyone- book now!. We dealt with Michelle, and the customer service

was simple and hassle-free. The property was beautiful and quaint, decorated tastefully
and really cosy. The hot-tub was enjoyed by all and the welcome pack was beyond anything

that side of Kent so plenty to keep us occupied! Overall a very enjoyable experience
